Grandmother Clock
Modeller: Dr.John D.Stark, Nelson Notes: The Arnfield timepiece, invented in 1987, is unique in that the pendulum, driven by a gravity arm, is not involved in unlocking the escapement. This results in very high-precision timekeeping. John's model is inspired by and based on a pioneer model designed and built by Dr. Michael Adler of Israel and published as a modelplan.
