Who Had These Comments: I was with the 1st Cav Bco 229th Aviation. I was
a Doorgunner on a Huey. Was there on that night. Have pics from there that
night also. Would like to here from anybody from my old unit.

Who Had These Comments: I went to Dau Tieng on a couple of occasions in
1968. I almost bought it there my self: I have some war stories of my own
one of which was at Dau Tieng.

Who Had These Comments: My brother was Robert W Hartsock, who received
the medal of honor. This is quite an impressive website. We couldn't understand
exactly what was being created but it is tastefully done and my computer
is going in the shop this week but would like to exchange email with some
guys who knew Bobby.

Who Had These Comments: I was getting real short at the time of the attack.
I departed VN on the 26th of March 1969. I recall the NVA dead all around
the wire and in the compound. The other end of the LZ was hit much worse
than our end. They had sent a lot of us to Tay Ninh, where they also hit
with rockets and motars, dinging several aircraft. We returned the next morning,
before flying the daily missions. They still had not cleared all the bodies.
As I recall they dug large common graves for the NVA dead.
