Sad Goodbye

From the very first moment
You poofed into my life
I felt a deep bond towards you

I knew this feeling
I had inside wasn't right
For you weren't mine

Over a course of time
I tried to break it off
Then you even tired

We shared everything
With each other
We only built the bond tighter

Then we met in real life
We had a fabulous time
This only secured that bond

I was your lost soul mate
And you were mine
Together we were one

You even came to the point
Of leaving your world behind
We excitedly talked of that approaching day

Then, one cold Sunday morning
I got a dear john note
Telling me " Goodbye "

I can understand to a point
Of you changing your mind
BUT
I will never understand why
You chose to say goodbye that way

I know there was a reason
For you to pop into my life
And I also know there was a reason
For you to just poof out of my life too

We may not understand
Why things happen in our lives
But, All things have their reason ~ WHY
