Sunning1995 30 x 54 Watercolor on 140 lb. cold press paper streched on oil painting strechers. Frank Haddock (see the art links page or click here) has a nice lesson about stretching watercolor paper on strechers. I find this to be the best way to work on over-sized watercolors. I buy 140 lb. paper by the roll so that I can cut any size I want to. The 300 lb. paper in a large size is prohibitively expensive. |
