1 envelope cream of mushroom soup mix
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
dash of pepper
3 cups cold water
3 tbsp. butter
1-1/3 cup of cooked chicken, tuna, salmon or beef

Combine soup mix and water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat.
Melt butter in large frying pan.
Add rice, onions and celery and saute until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Stir soup slowly into rice, onion and celery mixture. Add pepper and meat.
Mix well. Bring quickly to a boil over high heat.
Cover tightly and simmer 5 mins.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 mins.
Serve with soy sauce if desired.
