Music is a powerful medium.  It can make you move, cry, smile, dance, cringe,  and much more.  Styles are numerous, instrumentation varies considerably, and audiences can be very passionate or aloof.  One thing that's true is "For any type of music there is an audience" .

Welcome to Big D's Music Box. The San Francisco Bay Area is our home and the starting point for this project.   Our goal is to make this site your starting point for the exploration of music's mysteries. It's going to be an ongoing process, as something of this magnitude isn't achievable overnight.  So, come back frequently to see how far we've progressed.

Your favorite style of music will find its place here as the site evolves.  A recording studio directory, record company addresses, and club listings are all in the works.
