Sonic Boom is a story about a group of Coalition Soldiers that are assigned to go after and drestroy a group of Rebels.  Now I know this sounds like a pretty boring premise but its not.   Adam Chilson makes Chi Town come alive and breathes life into all his characters (whether your supposed to like them or not.)  Well done Adam.  I feel that if you are a Rifts fan (if your not I don't know what your doing at this site) you will really enjoy Rifts Sonic Boom.

After the failure of their mission to destroy the Rebels.  Deception's Web deals with the problems of being compromised in the field and having to deal with Chi Towns Hierarcy.  Deception's Web is better then the first book in the trilogy.  Adam Chilson writing flows better then it did in the first book, although this just may be that we are now familiar with all the characters.  I did have problems putting the book down I enjoyed it so.

OK Adam Chilson saved his best for last.  But I found a small error Altarain Blind Warrior Women have radar as a form of vision.  Mr Chilson left them without their radar and had the Blind Warriors sensing the world around them with their Psychic powers, hearing and smell.  But..... on the other hand he kept them constant, its just a small compaint.  And what's with Mel Gibson on Rift® Earth any way.  Read the book I'm sure you will be amused with the answer to that question.
