Notes to Parents/Guardians

To ensure success of Cambridge Chinese School (CCS) programs, parents/guardians are requested to take notice of the following regulations:

1. Cooperation of parents/guardians with CCS is requested. Please let your child understand that following student rules, respecting teachers, being courteous and maintaining discipline is required.

2. The CCS classes are held following each program’s schedule. Please take students to assigned program/programs and pick them up on time. Please note that there is a fine for picking up late in either the after-school program or the summer program. Parents/guardians and students are requested to remain in designated areas and do not enter private areas.

3. Students are prohibited to bring dangerous articles to CCS. Also, the CCS will not be responsible for any loss of any valuable items.

4. Parents/guardians are responsible to pay tuition on time (see school calendar for detail for each program). The tuition is due as following:

The 2nd week of each semester for the After-School and Weekend Program, The 1st week before each session for the Summer Program.

Please make check payable to "Cambridge Center for Chinese Culture", and there will be a $5.00 late fee /student/class if tuition is paid after due day. If in any reason that you child can’t come to school on time, please notify the school, tuition will not be refunded. The tuition for the after-school and the summer programs is tax deductible, but the tuition for weekend program is not.

Please note:

1. There is a $10 non-refundable registration fee for each new student in weekend program.

2. There is a $50.00 deposit fee for each student in after-school program, this deposit fee is refundable if you notify CCS one month before your child’s leaving the program, or, it’s not refundable.

3. There is a $100.00 deposit fee for each student in summer school program, this deposit fee in refundable if the student has a clear balance at end of program.

5. Parents/guardians must sign an Emergency Consent Form. The CCS, teachers and staff members will not assume responsibility for any accidents incurred during participation in the CCS programs. If parents or doctor can’t be reached in case of an emergency, consent is hereby given that the student receives medical treatment.

6. Parents/guardians are requested to educate their child to respect school property. Compensation must be made for damage to such property. For serious violations of school regulations, the school reserves the right to issue warnings, expulsions, which ever apply.
