The most important number in numerology is your life path number. Your life path number shows the opportunities, challenges and lessons you will have in this lifetime.
Your life path number is the sum of the month, day & year of your birth. You need to turn the month, day & year of your birth into a single number. An ex. 12/13/49, December is the 12th month, 1+2=3, so December is a 3 month. The 13 day is, 1+3=4, The 13 day is a 4. The year 1949 is 1+9+4+9=23=2+3=5, so 1949 is a 5. To get your life path number you add 3+4+5=12=1+2=3. so 12/13/49 is a 3 life path number. You never add the 3 whole numbers (12+13+1949) together. You have to turn the numbers into single digits first.
You never reduce the Master numbers of 11 & 22. An ex. is May 11, 1975, May is a 5 month, 11 is a Master number & is not reduced, 1975 is 1+9+7+5=22 is a Master number so it also is not reduced. 5+11+22=38=11. This Life Path number is 11 and you do not reduce Master numbers.
Master numbers are very challenging for those of you who have them in your chart. Master numbers have great potential but there is also a lot of inner tension that you have to deal with because you are a high achiever. Master numbers are goal oriented & have a lot of energy. Be careful not to let this energy control you. You need to take charge of the energy & not let it take charge of you. Most of those with Master numbers do not learn to handle things well, until later in life.
