The coin-op cousin of the famous game Magical Kid Wiz

Many MSX fans would agree that Magical Kid Wiz (by Sony) was one of the best games ever released for the MSX 1 system.

What if I tell you that there was an arcade version of this game ?

With excellent graphics and nice gameplay, WIZ was released in 1985 by Seibu Kaihatsu.

Just check out the screenshots below to see how good the game was.
(They were taken on MAME 0.34 beta 6)

Graphics are really great !

This stage is quite unusual.

In WIZ, you fight the dragons in the open.
And they are real HARD to kill.

WIZ is not exactly equivalent to Magical Kid Wiz with better graphics.

For example,WIZ stages have no doors,and there's no cloud-climbing stage to reach the castle.

This game is also much HARDER than then MSX version.

BTW, if you happen to finish WIZ...please send me a screenshot !
