Chiba Mamoru was King Endymion of Earth and Usagi was Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom and they were to be wed. She gave him her star locket which would only play the song for two true lovers. Then, the Moon was attacked by the Dark Kingdom, led by the evil Queen Metallia. She was banished back to her Dark Kingdom from our Universe. Queen Serenity was running low on power and with the last of it, she sent her daughter, the other Planet Princesses and Endimion to Earth to be reborn, as well as two cat guardians, Luna and Artemis. She erased their memories and left to die...
Much later, when he was only four or five, his parents were killed in a car crash and once again he lost of his memory. All he could remember was Mamoru, so he figured that that was his name. He was sent to an orphanage and was really smart and after completing school, he earned a scholarship to one of the best Universities in Japan. He continued on and found that he always had to try at the Tuxedo Kamen doll in the Game Corner. And he also started to have strange dreams about a Princess asking Tuxedo Kamen to set her free. It took him a while to figure out that one, but that later. At the game corner there was a really ditzy girl called Usagi. She had really weird hair with meatballs on top so he called her odango atama(meatball/dumpling head). He turned out to be Tuxedo kamen, well, then all he had to figure out was who the Princess was in his dream. He had had pretty good luck for quite a while now, but then, he got stuck, with Usagi, in an elevator, that was about to crash down about thirty floors. And then she started panicking and screaming and crying, that was TRULY the worst sound. Then odango atama started shouting some weird nonsense about "Moon Prism Power Make-up" and then, she became Sailor Moon. Now, he had fought along side Sailor Moon for ages and whenever she was in danger, he seemed to have to save her! He was not to be outdone and became Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi almost passed out when she saw that. "Mamoru, but you can't be my true love?" she kept murmuring. I was kinda disappointed when I found out who Usagi also was. They then creamed the Dark Kindom General that had trapped them in the elevator, his name was Zoicite and Mamoru got shot in the back with a piece of glass. Usagi fell over his crumpled and dying body and started crying. Her tear became the Silver Imperium Crystal and she became the Princess in his dream! She said that she remembered being Princess Serenity of the Moon Kindom and that Mamoru was a Prince from Earth and they were to be wed... Mamoru remembered and then all of a sudden another General appeared and took his back to the Dark Kingdom where he was brainwashed into fighting the Sailor Scouts for the Crystal. He was fixed when Sailor Moon dropped the Star locket and he heard the song and remembered. Now I did say earlier that she gave Mamoru the locket, he dropped it in an earlier battle with the Dark Kingdom before he knew who Usagi was and all that. They had many other obstacles to overcome, but they will do it together and succeed
