Kim (Myers) Bourland
Location: Jim(my husband) and
daughter Kelsea(who is 7) and I live in Maine, and have for 3 years. Prior to this, we
lived in Belgium, as Jim was in the Navy. We were able to travel to several locations
while there- my most favorite was Paris!
Family: Jim and I met in Florida 10
years ago and married. We currently call Maine "home" where we have an old
"fix- it" home on 5 acres. So much to do, so little time!
Job: I am the Director of a
Domestic Violence Shelter here in Maine serving women and children. Sad to say we are
usually full.
Leisuretime Activities: Although
free time is limited, we ski, iceskate and enjoy the Maine winters. Springtime is my
favorite, as I begin the flower and garden rituals around our home and head to the lake
for water fun!
Favorite Memories: Life as a teen and a
twin had its challenges but I remember close friends! Best friend--Tammy, and all the
miles driven round and round in circles! Sometimes backwards-- huh, Ira!?!
Future Plans: Future plans may move
us to Georgia but my main priority is my little girl Kelsea-the best thing I ever did!!!
Miscellaneous: I
sure hope to attend this time and looking forward to "What ever happened to..."
and then seeing what happened!
