Lisa (Patterson) O'Connor
Location: I live in Fairport, New York. I
have lived in New York for almost 20 years now (Syracuse, Rochester,& Lima New York).
Family: 1 child (14 years old now).
Divorced in 1991, and remarried to a wonderful guy for two and a half years now.
Job: I am a General Manager for Sodexho
Marriott. I am a Special Events Planner and Designer. My office is based out of Eastman
Kodak, although I travel for special gala events in other states. I have designed several
catering programs that are used company wide. My Husband (Mike) and I own Eastside Auto
Repair and Mike is currently designing an internet shopping and infromation company
(www.accubuy.com)
Leisuretime Activities: I just
started golfing and I enjoy the time doing that with my husband, and we are trying to get
Erika out with us. We travel to Florida twice a year to veg in a beach chair to recoop
from our hectic jobs and to get away from all the snow New York has.
Favorite Memories: The one that pops in
my head was of Becky Mason and a 50 gallon drum after a football game..Do you remember
that Becky? I also remember driving around the square to check out who was there. I think
of Jeff Calvert and all the fun we used to have. How he had walked me to classes at one
period of time to protect me from a couple of the upper classman Girls who were thugs and
were threatening to beat me up for flirting with their boyfriends! Laughing so hard in
typing class I could never do the timed tests. (I should have been more serious in class
because I really need those skills now.) I remember being at DeeDee Thompson's house and
us singing to the very cute Postman she had delivering her mail "Please Mr.
Postman". Kay Howery was a great friend and a great neighbor.
Future Plans: Work very hard for
the next 10 years, buy some property on the beach, and retire in Florida.
Miscellaneous: I graduated early
and had already moved to New York, so I missed out on that half of the year that I'm sure
everybody has strong memories of. However, I often think of all my classmates over
the years and think back to the fun times I had in high school and reflect how living and
growing up in a small town has molded me into who I am today. I am wishing everybody a
good life and happiness.
