Roger Burton
Location: Currently, I live in
Chicago--Wrigleyville to be exact. I'm a block from Wrigley Field--you should see
the foot traffic when the Cubs are playing. Outside of Chicago, I spent a year in Boston
which was nice but just wasn't Chicago.
Job: Most classmates I've ran into
since high school thought I went into the arts. To their dismay I actually spent 12 year
in engineering. After that time, I lost all interest in engineering and decided to pursue
other careers. I am currently a Financial Analyst at a commercial lending
institution in the loop. I'm also working on an MBA in marketing. I am,
however, still in the arts. I have a photography business and through that I've been
photographing and designing compact discs for local musical artists in addition shooting
black-n-white art.
Leisuretime Activites: Photography
is also my leisure time. Additionally, I work out five days a week and rollerblade.
There's little time to do anything else with work, school, and the home business.
Favorite Memories: Working on the
high school float is a great memory--it was a fun time. Receiving the Most Talented Senior
Boy honor I'll never forget--it really took me by surprise. I also treasure the memory of
my home room teacher, Phyllis Arnold, telling me every year that I would spring up in
height my senior year--"just wait" she said. I was 4'10" in high school.
I'm 5'10" now. If anyone has heard from her, tell her she was right. :)
Future Plans: I plan on moving from the
finance field to advertising once I have my MBA.
