HISTORY

     DC's Harehounds was begun in the summer of 
1995 with the purchase of Tennessee Jed VIII (T.J. ).
It was soon found that one beagle was not enough. 
We acquired Hank in December of 1995. In the 
spring of 1996, We got DC's Broadalbin Babe &
Andy's Smokin Shadow. We liked Babe so much
that in the fall of 1996 we bought her sister, DC's
Dark Starr. DC's Cosmic Charlie was brought aboard
in the spring of 1997. In the summer of 1997, we 
bought NR. FC. Wolf Pen Branch Scooter who 
acquired his Field Championship Title early that fall.
Also in the fall of 1997, we purchased DC's Black Trakker.
       We run mostly Large Pack on Hare but also run
SPO trials as well. Our dogs are not like the wild & 
crazy dogs that are the fad in LPH today. Our dogs have 
plenty of hunt & unlike a lot of the LPH dogs of today know
what a check is.
