FLYING FREE

The World is full of problems and I stand alone. I watch from the inside and wonder who I am. Everyone else is outside, living their lives as time goes by. A plate of steel keeps me in and I am unable to get free.

One caring person stops to see why I am all alone. The steel suddenly turns to glass, and as I look, I can see things clearer. More people stop to look in as they continue their busy lives. I am still trapped on the inside but a little closer to being free.

Another person stops to see if she can get through to me. The glass gets thinner day by day. I can almost reach the outside. I finally really want to get out. I am ready to receive help. I grasp hold of my friend's hand and I am flying free!
