28. John SCOTT was born on 26 Mar 1845 in "Rock Cottage", Walkerburn, Peebles, Scotland. He emigrated in 1860 from Mosgeil, New Zealand. He died on 20 Oct 1889 in Sydney. He was married to Lillias MCFARLANE on 20 Oct 1869 in Mosgeil, New Zealand.

29. Lillias MCFARLANE was born on 30 Jun 1843 in Trinity Gask, Perthshire, Scotland. She emigrated in 1860 from Mosgeil, New Zealand. She died in 1910. She was also known as Lillias Jane. Children were:

child vii. Donald MacFarlane SCOTT was born on 7 Nov 1881 in Freeburgh, Victoria, Australia.
