My Poetry

To Mikael

The look in your eyes
Speaks to the depths of my soul
Whisphering words of dreams come true
That forever is with you

Hidden

The future is the fog
Blind to what's ahead
I keep walking further
Trapped in a soul
That's confused and unheard
Feeling the sorrows of others
Ignoring its own
My tears are unseen
My heart remains unspoken
My eyes lying to the world

Deep in my Heart

How do I find the way
To keep the love
That will never stay

Hoping a part of me will die
That strives on fear
That cries a single tear

Finding the way to open all doors
That keep me hidden beneath their pores
Is a task worth fighting for
To cry no more.

Angel of Love

I was asked to save you
From yourself I was told
Angel of love, angel of death
I gave you love, you gave me death

Called to you
Mine own eyes betrayed me
"My love is but darkness."
You cried to me
My ears would not hear.

Running away from truth
Forward toward the lies
Finding myself in your arms
Who needs saving now?

Untitled

I wonder if the spoken words
Had ever been said
If the warmth of his kiss
Had always been cold
If our forever only destined
To last a minute

Why does this torment me so
My lover he was
But doubtfully true
Many a night
Compelled to tears I was
Aching for words
He never meant

I must go on
With only dreams of him
Of a man he never was

Crowded

Crowds are but shadows
As I look for you in the distance
My mind clowded by thoughts of your hand
Making its way to my face
Gently bringing me into your soft embrace.

As I try to speak my voice trembles
Afraid of the words I want to say
Feeling the chemistry build between us
My body quivers begging you to take me away.

Cold and Bitter Streets

Cold and bitter streets
Sweat of night shift in the air
A child screams in the distance
Lost in Midnight's fog
Mamma left her side long ago
An open window reveals truth
As in haste two lovers quarrel
A despaired young man
Seeks out a warm corner to sleep
Nowhere will he find salvation or security
A nearby alley ravaged by violence
Tells many stories of nights like these
Spent on cold and bitter streets

Untitled

The day came and went
As though yesterday were still here
Walking in the shadows of yesteryears
And the melancholy of tomorrow's fears
Philosophies of love
Echoing in the depths of my soul
Wishing truth to be told
What I seek and what I gain
Destined never to be the same
Forever blind yet seeing too much
Causes of a troubled mind
Living still in lost times
Each day reminicing of yesterday.

Poet of the Mourn

He layed upon me in darkness
Illustrious poet of the mourn
Telling tales of one's sorrows
As though they were not his own

Many nights I've felt his scorn
Shadows in mind I too feel torn
For the poet's love I have been swayed.

Poet With No Name

The poetry of my soul
Speaks to the estranged words
That have so long touched my lips
That have forever remained mute
By distant quarrels of my mind

I am a poet with no a name
Words unspoken always remain
Lavender skies and misty winds
Swift it falls, protrait of beauty

Mystical night, forever bright
Star-filled skies, some in flight
Shoot past the waning moon
Dark-lit dreams, puzzles in bloom
Answers here lie
For me, the poet with no name.
