Chicken Corn-Meal Soup

This is not a complex recipe.

If you are on the Puree Diet, after preparing as instructed below take out a portion for your self and serve the rest of this nice soup to your family! Place the portion you saved for yourself into a blender and puree for about 2 minutes. Reheat if necessary.

From the kitchen at Daryl’s Chic Bistro:

Chicken Corn-Meal Soup
6 servings

6 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup diced onion
1 cup diced potatoes
1 cup chopped chicken
1/4 cup corn-meal
1 salt and pepper

Heat broth to boiling.
Add vegetables. Cover. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
Sift in corn-meal slowly, stirring constantly.
Add chicken. Season to taste.
Cover and Simmer 10 minutes. .
