This page is a new idea and I am taking suggestions for a Featured Web Site now. If you know of a good personal web site (Theme: Weight Loss Surgery) that has impressed you, please email me with the URL.

. . . My hubby came to have lunch with me yesterday afternoon. On his way out, he says "Oh, by the way, as I was leaving the apartment the phone rang and I didn't make it there in time to answer. The caller ID said something about surg... I said "What was the number???" He said.."I dont know...I will check later on." I said "NO...you will go home and check now!" (can you tell I was anxious???) He went home, and called me. Yes, it was Dr. G's office. I called them, and...I WAS APPROVED BY MY INSURANCE!!!! TENTATIVE SURGERY DATE: Sept. 10!!

I am doing very well! The GREAT news is:
In the first 18 days after surgery, I lost 47 pounds!!!
Day of surgery: 529.9
Sept. 18, 1999: 482
I am flabbergasted! I am still on a full liquid diet, which is getting REALLY boring. But, Dr. G says that on Oct. 5, I can add a skinless baked potato! Feast time! lol

. . . I am happier than I have ever been -- and feel better than I have in years -- and I would have this surgery again in a heartbeat.
In 16 Weeks, I have lost 115 pounds!!
