Here are some of My Meal Plans:

These are not suggestions from my doctor, but actual recordings of my daily intake. This is to show how easy it is to get plenty of protein from normal eating. No need for those designer protein drinks!

Daily Intake Totals:

Calories = 2178
Total fat = 92 gr.
Cholesterol = 279 gr.
Sodium = 2144 mg.
Total Carbohydrate = 175 gr.
Protein = 174 gr. <--------------look at this!
Here is what I ate to get those values:

Breakfast:
one hamburger patty with ketchup
diet pop

Morning snack:
1 cup boiled green soybeans (nibbled on them all morning)
diet pop

Lunch:
Beef ribs, small end, Lean, broiled with dry rub spices
Vegetable salad, Mediterranean
Unsweetened Ice tea

Afternoon snack:
1 cup boiled green soybeans (nibbled on them all afternoon)
diet pop

Dinner:
Spaghetti Squash
Chicken breast grilled
Unsweetened Ice tea

Evening snack:
1 baked potato
Unsweetened Ice tea

Late night snack:
Nutrition bar
Diet pop

Well, there you have it, I was up very late (2 AM) so I did get that extra bump from the nutrition bar but that was only 5 grs of protein for 140 calories. Normally I would not have had that last snack.
