Tasslehoff Burrfoot

  Tasslehoff was born in northern Kendermore. His parents were studying the plainsman at the time of his birth. At the age of 16, Wanderlust had taken hold of the happy-go-lucky Kender and he began his long journey to create the "great map". He soon encountered Flint and Tanis when a bracelet and "fallen" into his pouch. From then on he has been a part of the Companions, and was a hero in the War of the Lance.

Even though, he is non-magical, he has quiet a bit of magical items. The glasses of true seeing allow him to read spells and ancient writings accessible to some of the best scholars. His time/dimension-travel device allows him to escape the Abyss, take Caramon into the possible future, and send Tanis and Caramon to they flying citadel. His polymorph ring turns him into a mouse and lets him travel back in time. He destroys the Dragon Orb of Ice Wall only to find the Dragon Orb of the High Clerist's Tower. He steals Tanis's anti-magic bracelet, saving him from Lord Soth. He even navigates Kitiara's citadel (not to mention it was driven right into Palanthas Bay).

After returning Chaos to his gemstone, Tas is squashed flat as a pancake. He can now be joined with Flint and help him stoke a fire that becomes the red star of hope in the firmament of the Age of Mortals.
