"Kung Phooey!" had its premiere showing at the 2003 San Francisco Int'l Asian American Film Festival. The first show completely sold out so a second was added which also sold out! "Kung Phooey!" was also shown at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival where it WON the top prize in comedy! Each screening had audiences howling with laughter! KP was also shown at the Visual Communications Film Festival. Check out Film Threat Magazine's review.KP hit the college circuit when the Stanford Wu Shu club had an on campus screening. Most recently, KP screened at the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Each screening was completely sold out to very enthusiastic audiences! On October 24th 2003, KP was released THEATRICALLY in the United Kingdom thanks to Mandrake Media.Yeah, I've never heard of them either but they got it out there!
