Occassionz Cards-N-Gifts saw it birth as an "Archies Gallery" franchise in 1993. Occassionz (then, Archies Gallery - Malad) was inaugurated on the 24th of October 1993 by Shri Ram Naik, M.P., currently the Unioun Minister for Petroleum. Occassionz (then, Archies Gallery - Malad) is the first venture of Devesh Tanna, a young entrepreneur. His other venture is Occasionz Gifts & Toys, a marketing company engaged in the marketing of gift articles & soft toys. Occassionz (then, Archies Gallery) opened to a tremendous response. It was like the people of Malad were waiting for a good Card N Gift store in their locality. It has now become the favourite store of the young & the young at heart. The shop recently celebrated it 5th Anniversary with a discount scheme and a lucky draw for its customers. The shop stocks over 1500 designs of cards for all occasions such as birthdays, weddings, general, good luck, etc. The shop also stocks wide variety of stationery items, toys and soft toys, music cassettes and c.d.'s, and gifts for all occasions and budgets. After being in the business for six years, it was felt that customers were not happy with cards of just one brand and the need to offer more brands and thus more variety was felt. Hence "Occassionz Cards-N-Gifts was born on the 19th of October 1999 after complete renovation of the interiors. Now the shop operates as a stand alone multi brand card and gift shop offering the best of cards and gifts availbale in the market. Customers have the unique opportunity of buying all the brands at one shop and not go hunting from one franchise shop to other to purchase their fauvorite cards. It is indeed a shop for the New Millenium. We will be soon starting Dial-a-Bouquet and Dial-a-C.D./Book service to offer more convenience for our customers. And the next stop is of course a shop on the net! |
