These are the programs that I used to create this site and the graphics offered here:

Microsoft FrontPage 98
This is a very user friendly program that helps you get a lot of the cool effects that everybody wants, without knowing a word of html. It is easy enough for beginners (like me) to understand. You can build a good first time site with a minimum of head-bashing.

Paint Shop Pro 5
You can download a fully functional 30 day free trial version of this program, plus some other goodies at their site. This is a great image editing program for a very reasonable price. It is the program I use most for designing backgrounds and graphics. There seems to be no end to the things that you can do with this program.


Ulead FX Razor 2.01
This is a whole set of plug-ins that work with Paint Shop Pro and Adobe PhotoShop. You can get some really nice image and text effects using this program. They also have a great 3D program. Check out their free trial downloads.

Reptile
This is a freeware program from Sausage Software that generates some fantastic background patterns.

Micrografx  Picture Publisher
This is another really good graphics and image editing program. It offers some different features than Paint Shop Pro. It has a great set of masking tools that make cleaning up your edges a lot simpler.

Visual Applet Configurator v1.1
This is my newest toy. This is a freeware program that creates some cool applets. I have tried some expensive programs that were not as good as this. I could not believe that it was free. It is a very user friendly program as well. Within minutes you will be able to create some nice applets on your first try.

Arachnoid
This is a very nice freeware html editor. It has a lot of important features built in. This is a good learning program for those just beginning to learn how to work with html.
