The business feature for this issue is The Pug Boutique, owned by Linda, AKA puggymamalinda on A Pug Place.  Her love for pugs began with her first puggy girl, LuLu, 3 years ago.  Last year she added little man, Kramer, to the furkids clan.  Kramer opened her heart and awareness to pug rescue.  Knowing that she was unable to be a foster mom, she decided to do fundraising instead. Last year she developed a calendar called Rescue Pugs of the Southeast.  That endeavor raised $400, but was extremely time consuming.  Her poor printer was running non-stop!
Being handy with a sewing machine, she started making outfits for LuLu and her grandpuggy, Pudgey.  People asked her to make outfits for their pugs.  From there, the idea for The Pug Boutique took shape.
The Pug Boutique offers custom made outfits for the pampered pug.  Pugs are very hard to fit 'off the rack', with their huge necks and short bodies.  Besides, they look so darned cute dressed up! 100% of the profits goes to pug rescue organizations.  Currently, Linda is offering holiday outfits, a fleece coat and biker vest, but will expand the online catalog in the future.  She is planning on a bunny outfit for Easter and a bride & groom set is in the works.
It is well worth the visit to the site just to see the cute pictures of LuLu and Kramer!
