REAL NAME: Jesse Cafferty
AGE: 28
POWERS: Gadgeteer. His most common powers
are a personal force field and weapons that drain an opponent's strength or
dexterity. While he has no compunctions about killing, he rarely uses a
lethal weapon himself.
APPEARANCE: Tall, stocky Caucasian male.
His costume appears to be a dark suit of armor with an open-faced helmet, but
the suit itself may or may not be armored.
FIRST APPEARANCE: Guardians #4
BACKGROUND: Cafferty was a skilled
inventor who found conventional research too confining and boring. He came
into contact with the Black King. The Black King took him on as a pupil,
teaching him about some of the more eccentric technologies that he
developed. Jesses became a field test specialist, and later developed some
of his own devices. He was attached to the Black Queen's team as technical
support and to help with especially difficult foes.
