White Queen
REAL NAME: Lady Alyna
AGE: Unknown/possibly immortal
POWERS: An array of magical spells, mostly defensive and healing in nature, although she does
have some powerful attack spells. Also immune to disease and does not appear to age.
APPEARANCE: 5' 7", 120 lbs. Long, flowing silver hair in her natural form. Regal bearing and
appearance.
FIRST APPEARANCE: Guardians #4 as Wila Quincy, Guardians #5 as the White Queen
BACKGROUND: No one is sure where the White Queen came from. All that the White
King's probing has uncovered is this: Alynia is not human. Apparently, she comes from a magic-using race that uses portals to travel between worlds. She has never revealed why she came to
Earth in the first place, but she seems to like it here and has given no indication that she will leave
any time soon.
She is strongly dedicated to justice, and she is the soul behind the Guardians. She is ever watchful
that the White King does not stray from the path, and she keeps him going when things look
worst. She loves Michael like a son, and treats Firemane as her foster daughter. She avoids
combat unless absolutely necessary, since she is not very tough and is injured or disabled easily if
an opponent is strong enough to batter through her shields. She devotes most of her energies to
protecting Earth from evil, magical threats, and she sees Firemane as a warrior in this cause.
