Uzo, on Uzo Island south of Termi, dates all the way back to Alis Landale's time. Uzo was a town Alis would land at when travelling between Parma, Motavia, and Dezolis. Uzo was in the middle of a large desert with one lake until Mother Brain came along and made it rain on Motavia, seperating Uzo from the outside world when the rain created the ocean. In Phantasy Star II, the mountain on Uzo Island held the Maurera Tree, which could be used to make a special gum to go underwater with. At the time of Phantasy Star IV, this town came back into play.
