Zema is a gateway to an ancient advanced civilization remain, Birth Valley and the Bio Plant. One thousand years before, in Phantasy Star II, Zema was a resort town on a lake. Zema is now a disasterous town - first I turn them to stone, then a biomonster attacks them, and robots ransack Zema for a third looking for any AI's.
