This is a continuation of the first story.

"Nothing good can come of this." said Sean as he stared at his empty closet. Sean immediately rushed to the Royal Castle to inform the Princess Ginger of grave news.

"I'm afraid you're too late, Sean. The Princess has been kidnapped." said Thoughts, the Royal Sage. Sean stood still in horror. "Who kidnapped her?" he asked.

"Last night, when the moon waxed full, a dark, evil beast crept into the Princess's chamber, and took her away. I tried to stop the beast, but he was too quick for me. He jumped out of the window and was gone." explained Thoughts.

"This must have something to do with my missing black box." commented Sean.

"Missing black box?"

"Yes, when Green Three fought Spork, we captured him in a black box. I've held onto the box for the past year, but just last night it mysteriously disappeared. I've got to go."

"Go where?" asked Thoughts.

"The town of Lavalampdream. I've got some friends I need to talk to."

"Go in peace, then brave Sean. Don't worry about the castle. I shall take charge during the Princess's absence." Sean looked at Thoughts, and was about to suggest that the Princess's distant family be notified to rule, but then changed his mind. "Good luck." said Sean as he walked out of the court room.

"I've got to find the others," said Sean, "We've got a new gig."

Sean heard a strange sound as he walked through the woods to Lavalampdream. He believed he recognized the sound as that of Andrew's snare drum. Further down the trail, Sean found a wagon approaching with three girls and a cage. Sean ran up to the wagon, and recognized the female riders as the Towson Sisters: Kathy, Katie, and Spacious. In the cage in the back of their wagon was everybody's favorite drummer: Andrew. "Andrew, what are you doing in that cage?" Sean asked. Andrew shrugged his shoulders. Sean addressed the Towson Sisters.

"Why do you have Andrew trapped in a cage?"

"Well, we trapped him a year ago, but as I recall we ran into you and decided to set him free." said Katie.

"That's correct." replied Sean.

"Well, now we remember what we needed him for, so we need him back. Def." said Kathy.

"And that is...?" asked Sean.

"We can't tell you!" the three snapped.

Remembering a trick from one of the pub goers at the Scarlet Blood Pub, Sean tried to save Andrew. "Hey, what's that over there?" said Sean as he pointed away from the wagon. The three Towson sisters looked hard to see what Sean had pointed to. Meanwhile, Sean set Andrew free.

"Cry. I don't see anything." said Kathy.

"Perhaps this is a trick to make us not look at the prisoner." said Spacious.

The three turned around and saw Andrew and Sean creeping away from the wagon. "They're escaping!" Sean turned around, and saw the Towson Sisters pull the wagon around to chase them. "Quick, Andrew, play the retreat music!" Andrew played a retreat song on his snare drum as the two ran deep into the woods to escape. After several minutes of running, they escaped the Towson Sisters.

"Cry." said Kathy.

"So, been up to anything new?" asked Sean.

"Nah." replied Andrew.

"Nothing new?"

"Nah."

"Learn any new words?"

"Nah."

Sean and Andrew finally made it to the town of Lavalampdream after their slight detour. They found the door of Maggie's hut, and knocked. Maggie opened the door, when Sean and Andrew quickly remembered to hide their pinkys behind their backs from Maggie's grasp. Maggie swung her hand out to catch the pinkys, but was too slow.

"We need you to sing again," said Sean, "Spork's missing." Maggie agreed to follow.

"By the way, do you know where Chris is?" asked Sean.

"Yeah, he's in his hut. We can call him with my tin can and string phone in my hut. The three went into Maggie's hut, and Sean attempted to call Chris using a crude tin can and a piece of string. He called once, but there was no answer.

"He's probably asleep." commented Maggie. Knowing how to resolve the situation, Andrew took the tin can and string phone and repeatedly called Chris's hut. After five calls, Chris finally answered in a groggy and disorientated mood.

"Spork's missing, we need you to play." said Andrew.

"Who?" asked Chris.

"Spork." replied Andrew.

"And what's happened?"

"He's missing."

"Oh. Okay. I'll be right over."

Andrew set down the tin can and informed Sean and Maggie that Chris would be over once he gets all of his stuff together.

"Well, since TV hasn't been invented yet, I guess we can't watch TV until Chris arrives." commented Maggie.

"Monday morning at its finest." spoke Sean.

Chris arrived at Maggie's hut with guitar in hand. "So, we ready to play?." said Chris. All agreed, except Sean who just remembered that he forgot something. "Man, I don't have my bass."

"You should always bring your bass." lectured Chris.

The four gathered their belongings, and traveled to Sean's hut, next to the Royal Kingdom. When they reached the hut, they encountered several Royal Guards standing outside. One of them yelled out upon seeing the group, and all of the guards converged on the four musicians. The Royal Sage Thoughts exited Sean's hut and approached the group.

"What's this all about?" asked Sean.

"You are under arrest for kidnapping Princess Ginger, and using the Spork box for your own devious deeds." charged Thoughts. Andrew, Maggie, and Chris looked at Sean, then tried to explain to the guards that they did not know him.

"Kidnap the Princess? That's ridiculous! Sure, I think she's hot, and I wouldn't mind..." The other three prevented Sean from further indicting himself.

"We won't speak until we talk to a lawyer!" demanded Chris.

"They haven't been invented yet." said Thoughts.

"Damn."

"You have no proof." said Maggie.

Thoughts opened the door to Sean's hut, and bound to a chair inside was Princess Ginger. "That could be anyone's hut." defended Sean.

"Hey Sean, isn't that your bass next to the chair?" asked Andrew.

"Take them away; all of them." commanded Thoughts. The four were thrown into the Royal Dungeon and the key was thrown away. Standing alone in the corner of the dungeon was a familiar character that the group had encountered before. "Pharmboy!" the group exclaimed.

"Let me out of here!!!" yelled the Pharmboy as he banged on the iron bars.

The four sat in the damp dungeon and sang to pass the time. Pharmboy kept his distance in another corner of the cell.

"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Nobody's knows but..."

"Sean. Thoughts, wants to talk to you." said a prison guard.

Thoughts lowered down the dungeon steps and faced the cell where the group was held. "Where is the box?" he asked.

"How should I know? It's been in my closet ever since I first got it, and it wasn't until the other day when I found it missing."

"He lies. Guards, torture one of his friends until he talks the truth." One of the guards unlocked the cell, and dragged Pharmboy out of the cell. He was then escorted into a room further down the dungeon.

"Now speak!" commanded Thoughts over the sound of Pharmboy's screams.

"I'm telling you the truth! I think you have a much better idea of where that box is than I do!" said Sean.

"Will you let your friend die of pain because of your stubborness?"

"Look, he's not my friend, and I have no idea where the box is." Frustrated, Thoughts left the dungeon. A singed Pharmboy was thrown back into the cell.

"You okay, Pharmboy?" asked Maggie.

"I feel as small and insignificant as that window over yonder." he replied with a puff of smoke from his mouth.

"That's it! The window!" said Sean.

"What are you talking about?" asked Chris.

"You see..."

"So the small windows in this dungeon are the same size as the ones in Princess Ginger's room?" asked Chris.

"Yes!" replied Sean.

"And since they are so small, a monster never could have escaped through that window with the Princess as Thoughts had said."

"Exactly. Something's rotten in the state of the Royal Kingdom."

"But we're still stuck in this jail." said Andrew.

"Not if I can help it." said a squeaky voice.

The group looked in astonishment as a small yellow rubber ducky walked into the dungeon. He waddled up to the bars of the cell, and began to file away at them with a metal file.

"I'm not the only one who sees a yellow rubber ducky filing away at our cell, am I?" asked Sean.

"My name's Yellow Rubber Ducky, I'm here to rescue you." explained the duck.

"You're who?" asked Maggie.

"I'm here to rescue you. I've got your instruments. I'm here with Mr. Monster."

"Mr. Monster!" the group explained.

"Come on!"

Yellow Rubber Ducky filed away an exit through the bars, and the group quickly exited the dungeon.

"Don't mind me, I'll just stay right here." said Pharmboy.

Green Three and Yellow Rubber Ducky exited the castle and walked to a forest closeby. "Green Three, this is Mr. Monster." said Yellow Rubber Ducky as he pointed into the shade of one of the trees. The group looked at the shade, but could not find Mr. Monster. Suddenly, two bright yellow eyes opened and stared at the group.

"Is this the help you promised, Yellow Rubber Ducky?" asked Mr. Monster from the dark shade.

"Yes, Green Three has defeated Spork once, and they can do it again." replied the Yellow Rubber Ducky.

"You need our help?" asked Chris to Mr. Monster.

"Yes. You see, I've been framed for kidnapping Princess Ginger."

"Wow. Seems like everyone but the perpetrator is being blamed for the Princess's kidnapping." commented Maggie.

"So, wait, you were the evil beast Thoughts described that stole the Princess and jumped through the window?" asked Sean.

"Well, that's the story he likes to tell, but it was nothing like that. The Princess and I are friends. I was in her room the night of her abduction, talking, when Thoughts came in. He threatened to kill me for talking to the Princess, so I quickly exited through the window into the night."

"But how could you escape through the small windows?" asked Andrew.

"I have no physical shape. I suppose a 'shadow' would be the best way to describe me. Physical things like small windows are of no concern to me."

"This is all very well and good, but we still don't know where the Spork box is, or who stole the Princess." said Sean.

"Follow us then." said Yellow Rubber Ducky. Yellow Rubber Ducky moved some branches on the ground, and the group saw their instruments. They picked them up, and followed Yellow Rubber Ducky and Mr. Monster through the woods.

"So what did you talk to the Princess about?" asked Sean to Mr. Monster as the group walked through the forest.

"Black ma..." Mr. Monster paused, "Nothing. We just chat."

"I think we need to rest." said Yellow Rubber Ducky. The group agreed and sat down to talk. Too tired to do anything, the group just sat solemly. After an hour of resting they decided it was time to continue walking.

"Wait, is Mr. Monster with us?" asked Andrew.

"Yeah, I find it hard to know if he's with us or not." added Chris.

"I'm here." replied Mr. Monster. The sound of Mr. Monster's voice directed the group's eyes to the shade of a large rock. A black silhouette jumped from the shade of the rock to another patch of shade. It was getting dark, and Mr. Monster suggested that the group stop to camp. Sean didn't feel like sleeping in the woods, so he looked around for some alternative. Deep in the woods he saw some lights that he thought he had seen before.

"Wait, let's go this way. If I'm not mistaken, there's a lodge just a couple miles away from here." said Sean.

"I think we'll be fine here." said Mr. Monster.

"Wait, is that the Scarlet Blood Pub?" asked Chris.

"I think it is." replied Sean.

"What's the Scarlet Blood Pub?" asked Andrew.

"It's a cool place where we first played. Let's go!" exclaimed Sean. Yellow Rubber Ducky and Green Three rushed in the direction of the Pub. Hesitantly, Mr. Monster followed.

"It's just that I'm not a 'people person'." he mumbled. He stopped himself and mused. "I'm not even a person."

The group found themselves in a clearing, where they saw the Scarlet Blood Pub surrounded by light and sounds of merriment. The group and Yellow Rubber Ducky quickly entered, while Mr. Monster stayed outside. Everyone in the pub cheered as they saw the band enter. Immediately, they demanded that the band play a song on the stage.

"Wanna come on stage with us?" Sean asked Yellow Rubber Ducky.

"Tempting, but no. I think I need to avail myself to the bathroom." he replied.

Green Three hopped on the stage and began to play a random song:

"Licking adhesive off a paper string Easter bunnies marked down at the end of spring Can’t cheat now with your banana blues They came marching on the boat in pairs and twos...."

Upon finishing the song, the band exited the stage and mingled among the pub goers.

"Hey, I'm Rob, you guys were great up there." said one of the pub goers to Sean as he walked around.

"Ah, thanks." Sean replied.

"I would watch your backs, though."

Sean was about to walk away, but turned around upon hearing Rob's comment. "And why's that?" Sean asked.

"Someone has taken over the Royal Kingdom with the help of Spork."

"What?" asked Sean in disbelief.

"It happened around the afternoon. A great black cloud hovered above the kingdom, and has remained there since. A strange magical force is keeping anyone from exiting or entering the castle."

"This must be Thought's doing." Sean commented. Sean noticed a shadow rise from under a nearby table.

"Quickly, Green Three, we must save the castle!" said Mr. Monster. Green Three gathered together and followed Mr. Monster out of the pub and into the forest. Moments later, Yellow Rubber Ducky exited the bathroom and looked around the pub.

"Guys?"

As the four ran through the darkness of the night in the forest guided by Mr. Monster, they couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Chris first slowed down and stopped, and the others then joined him. "I don't think we're going the right way towards the castle. I hear a stream, and I don't remember passing one on our way to the pub." he said.

"Yeah. Come to think of it, why did we even head deep into the forest when we first escaped from the jail dungeon back at the castle?" added Andrew.

Mr. Monster faced Green Three and squinted his two yellow eyes at them. He then growled a fierce growl and charged the group. The group scattered to avoid him. Chris and Sean tried batting at Mr. Monster with their guitars as he zoomed back and forth from each member, but their instruments just passed though him. Maggie and Andrew tried the same with large branches, but found no better luck. Mr. Monster began to nip at each member's feet and forced them to run. Mr. Monster travelled at incredible speeds between each member to assure that they continued to run. After several minutes of this, Mr. Monster disappeared into the darkness. Each band member looked around, but could not find another member. They were all alone and lost in the forest.

"Josh?! I mean, Chris?!!!" Sean yelled out loud.

But there was no reply....

The sound of someone running through the woods awoke Sean. The morning sun blinded him, and he couldn't see who was running. He immediately got up and ran towards the sound of twigs snapping and the swoosh of dead leaves.

"Chris? Andrew? Maggie?" Sean called out. Sean found the person running, and was surprised to see that it was...

"Thoughts!!!" Sean readed himself to fight the Royal Court Sage.

"Where's Spork?" he asked. Thoughts merely stood still. His face had several cuts and it appeared as if he had gone into shock. Sean was about to ask again, when Thoughts muttered "Princesssss...." His eyes rolled back in his head, and he fell to the ground. His back was covered with gashes and he was bleeding profusely. Sean heard the sound of laughter, and looked up from Thought's body.

"Hello, Sean, reciter and knower of nonsense." said Princess Ginger as she stood next to the Spork box.

"You?!!! But why?" asked Sean.

"Ever since I first layed eyes on this box a year ago, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Not a day went by that I wasn't tempted to call the power trapped within this box 'mine'. To get the box, I implored Mr. Monster to teach me the ways of Black Magic so that I could capture the box and use it. Every night I secretly met with him and we plotted together to steal the box from you. However, Thoughts walked in on us one night, so I quickly faked my kidnapping and stole the box from your hut."

"But how could you make it from through that window?"

"The same way I have appeared before you now." replied the Princess.

The Princess demonstrated her ability to become shade-like, just like Mr. Monster could.

"You can't get away with this. Green Three has defeated Spork before, and we'll do it again."

"Ah, yes, your band will defeat me. But where are they?" mocked the Princess.

"Funny story. Mr. Monster separated us, and..."

"Silence! This is the end, Sean. I have the Spork box, and now the power to take over the Realm and destroy it."

Sean watched as dark energy flowed from the Princess's hand and was discharged towards him.

And thus ends "Spork's Revenge: Ye Green Three 2."

Start over! NEXT! I give up!
