I thought having the first round of the playoffs running over two weeks, the stupidest thing the NBA has done since, well, their microphone standoff with the coaches. But at least it's over and the games are now every other day.

Lakers-Kings: I thought this series would go 3. It went 5. When the Lakers concentrate, and keep their focus they are unstoppable. The Kings showed some fight.

Blazers-Timberwolves: Not enough KG. Too much Pippen. Pippen is showing up when they need him most. Will a team win with Damon Stoudamire at point. I thought the Blazers would win in 4.

Jazz-Sonics: I thought the Jazz would pick and roll their way to an ugly 5 game victory and they did. Malone is huge and Payton was a big game guy as well. You just can't count out the Jazz. They may be old, but they have talent.

Suns-Spurs: With Duncan, the Spurs are one of the best teams in the NBA. Without Duncan, they are a decent team. No Duncan, no win. I thought the Spurs could win with Duncan, but without him they were toast. The Admiral showed he still has it.

Knicks-Raptors: Everyone said the Knicks are built for the playoffs. Everyone said the Raptors had the Knicks number. Everyone said the regular season means nothing. Everyone said the Raptors were poised for an upset. Too many dissenting opinions. I thought the Knicks would win and they did. I thought it would be in 4. It was in 3. The Raptors played them touch for 47 minutes a game, too bad there are 48 minutes in a game.

Pacers-Bucks: Who would have thought the Bucks would take the Pacers to the brink. Like the Jazz, the Pacers win.

Heat-Pistons: No Grant Hill, no playoffs. They better hope he's coming back, or it's lottery time in Detroit next year. I thought the Heat would rout and they did.

76ers-Hornets: I though the 76ers would win. Iverson is unstoppable. The Hornets had no answer for the Answer. Their guards were too slow to stop him.
