Mechanical Engineering Technician (COOP), Co-generation Maintenance Department

·         Assisted the maintenance group in the Preventive, Predictive and Corrective maintenance program of the Abbott’s 20MW (megawatt) Co-generation Plant.

·         Performed failure analysis to different components of the Co-generation machine.

·         Fulfill vibration analysis to the cogeneration motor cylinder cover studs.

·         Performed a failure code database for the auxiliary equipment of the Co-generation plant to include it on the predictive maintenance program.

·         Analyzed the properties and contents of the motor's fuel oil inside the tank and designed for it a piping system to circulate the fuel in order to maintain its properties.

·         Conducted planning and scheduling functions for the Co-generation maintenance department and during the plant shutdown.
