My Pipes
Here you will find pictures of some of my favorite pipes. I will try to update them with new pictures as I can. Enjoy them as I do. I strive for quality in smoking from what I buy. |
I would like to thank Dan Merriman, a very good friend, who has helped me obtain some wonderful pipes. Without his help I would not have the fine pieces that I have in my humble little collection. |

An Ardor Mercurio. The first Ardor that I have owned. Very good craftsmanship and a joy to smoke. |
Another Ardor. This one is and Urbano. A most popular shape and a great smoker. A very elegant pipe. |
An Armellini sandblast that is very nicely done. This is a very cool smoking pipe. It has a large capacity and still maintains that great balance. |
An Ascorti Business. This is the first one that I have ever owned. It is a beaut. The bit feels so good in the mouth and the balance is perfect. |
This Meerschaum has colored very nicely. Always a cool sweet smoke with this pipe. It is very light and easy to hold in the mouth. |
I have looked for a while for a golfball meerschaum that does something for me. I found this one on Ebay and got it. It is starting to color nicely and is a good smoker so far. |
This is a beautifully carved CeSem Meerschaum. I have not smoked this pipe yet. I like looking at it in its pure state and will keep it that way for a little while longer. |
Brebia Pura. This pipe was given to me by Gene Higgins, the owner of a shop that went out of business. It is well made and smokes good. It is a little on the heavy side though. |
There was a lady tobacconist in town who had to sell out her business. I got this pipe for a song when that happened. I got several other pieces that way. This is strictly an armchair pipe. A very cool and dry smoke. Wonderful for reading the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle! |
Another CeSem. For the money and the quality of workmanship, they can't be beat. I have smoked this one a couple of times. I am anxious to see how it will turn when the coloring starts. |
Beautifully carved with an intricate design. It is a little heavy to hold in the mouth for any length of time, but provides a nice smoke for reading on a cold evening. The heel has the most intricate carving of the whole pipe. |
A Castello "Castello" 31 shape. This is one of the most beautiful sculpturing designs that I have seen. It starts in the front of the pipe and moves all the way down the shank to the stem. Absolutely beautiful!! |
This is a great smoker. It is a Castello with the gold band added. There is no sign of any type of repair on the shank. |
A Castello, Sea Rock, 32 Canadian. It has a very large capacity and smokes very cool. The finish has a slight red tint to it. |
A smaller pipe. This is a Castello Collection. It is very light and great for those small smokes during the day. |
This one is an all around great pipe. Cool smoking, nice balance, light in weight. I am very happy with this pipe. |
A Castello "Castello" white stem. These are not plentiful. This one belonged to a friend named Tony Trego. He used to collect the white stems, but does not anymore. I was lucky enough to get this one. |
A Castello Epoca. Beautifully done. Dark, rich, begging to be smoked. What a gem. |
