In February of 1988, I came down with what I thought was the flu. Some of my symptoms were, extreme fatigue, migraines, muscle pain and aches, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, loss of balance, sensitivity to light and noise. I was very sick, but instead of getting better,I became worse and at one point almost died. But the Lord kept me and somehow gave me the strength to walk with Him each day. After four years of suffering, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by a Rheumatologist. He told me there was NO cure. But I believed God would heal me...I was counting on it!

And in the fall of 1994, God began dealing with me about forgiveness and gave me a scripture...Job 42:10..."And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." So I began forgiving people who had hurt me and wronged me and I prayed for them daily.

Then during the first week of January 1995, I began attending a week long series of services at our church. That evening I cried out to the Lord as I worshipped Him. I said, " Jesus, I know revival is coming and unless you heal me I won't be able to enter in with my whole heart as I long to do. My body doesn't have the strength." Immediately I heard His voice, "I am going to heal you!" And I said, "Yes Lord, I believe you and I receive your healing".

The next evening at church, I went forward for prayer. A pastor's wife prayed for me confirming that the Lord was going to use me in certain areas of ministry. She also felt the power of God flowing through her. The next morning as I got out of bed, I noticed something was different. But I wasn't sure what it was because I had been sick so long. But I noticed I wasn't tired and my muscles weren't sore. So I proceeded to clean the house and do things I had had no energy to do before. I felt great and as the hours and days passed, I realized my symptoms were gone and I had been healed by the Lord my Healer!
