John Foran’s Foran Family
Matthew Foran was born in the 1830s, in
County Clare, Ireland. He married Johanna Marinan, who was also
born in the 1830s in County Clare. Their known children were:
1-Daniel
Foran, b. abt.1861 at Ennistymon, County Clare. He arrived at
Maryborough, Queensland, on August 6, 1882, aboard the ship
Western Monarch. Daniel married Margaret O'Brien on May 19, 1886,
in Brisbane, and he died on November 3, 1926, at Brisbane
(this is John’s grandfather). Children born to Daniel and
Margaret were:
