DREAM MATCH #2 - CHRIS JERICHO VS RVD!!

The King and Bobby Heenan come down to do the commentary. The fans are going nuts. To join them are Mike Tenay and Joey Styles. The announcers go over how tonight's event will be oh so great, because its going to be an iron man match between two of the most talented superstars and future world champions.

Michael Buffer is in the ring. "Ladies and Gentlemen it is time for the Iron Man match! The rules are simple. It will be an hour-long match. The wrestler to acquire the most pinfalls in the hour will win. Also, if one wrestler gets disqualified or counted out, the result will be a pin for the other wrestler. First I would like to introduce, the guest referee. One of the best men to ever walk the squared circle, and a man who is undefeated in his iron man matches, Shawn Michaels!" Shawn gets to the ring and says that he has gotten word from the back and this match will be a NO DQ match. Crowd cheers. Buffer then introduces RVD, then Jericho. He then says "Let's get ready to rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RVD gets the mic first and says that tonight he will prove that he is the whole F'N show to everyone out there. Then Jericho gets the mic. He says that we all know that RVD really stands for Ridiculously Vile Degenerate. And you're more like the Whole F'N LOW. Jericho tosses the mic out of the ring and the bell sounds.

RVD mad by Jericho's comments, storms at him. And connects with dropkick after dropkick. The 3rd drop kick by RVD sends Jericho out of the ring. RVD then runs to the rope and hits the top of the ropes and delivers a flip into Jericho. RVD then goes and gets chair. He throws it in the ring, along with Jericho. He goes over to the chair, but Jericho hits RVD with a spinwheel kick. He then throws RVD onto the ropes and trips RVD neck first onto the ropes. RVD and Jericho exchange punches, but then RVD goes for the sweep. Jericho jumps, but RVD gets up and gives Jericho a Van Daminator when he lands! Jericho then crawls under the ropes. RVD takes the chair and throws it in the air. Jericho catches it, and RVD gives Jericho a baseball slide into the chair and Jericho gets hit in the face with the chair. Both men continue to battle outside and Michaels doesn't count because both men would be counted out. RVD picks up Jericho for a powerbomb. Hurricanerana, and the reverse by Jericho. RVD hits hard on the floor and Jericho gets back in the ring to catch his breath. As soon as Jericho gets into the ring Michaels starts counting RVD out. He gets to 9 and…RVD runs into the ring on time. When RVD gets into the ring, Jericho kicks him in the stomach and gives him a DDT. He gets a chair and sets it up in the middle of the ring. It looks like Jericho is going to take something out of Raven's book. He throws RVD into the ropes. An amazing leapfrog by RVD over Jericho and onto the chair. Jericho turns around and RVD gives him flying elbow. He hits Jericho right in the mouth. He then drags Jericho to the corner of the ring. It looks like its going to be a 5 Star Frog Splash! He gets up top. Jericho quickly gets up and hits the rope. RVD goes groin first onto the top turnbuckle. Jericho then jumps on the top of the ropes and give RVD a DDT from the top rope onto the chair! Michaels counts. 1,2,3! Jericho gets the first pinfall.

Twenty minutes have gone by so far. Jericho not hesitating. Goes right for RVD to try to get a quick second pinfall. Russian leg sweep by Jericho. Jericho then goes up top. He then jumps off and tries his own frogsplash. RVD puts the chair over his stomach. Jericho hits the chair. The chair saved RVD but it also caused a lot of pain to RVD. If Van Dam wants to win he is going to have to get back in the match. Jericho gets up first, a little wobbly. Jericho takes RVD and goes to give him a rock bottom. RVD thinks fast and reverses the Rock Bottom into the Flatliner! Great move by RVD. RVD then hits the ropes and connects with a big leg drop. RVD then gives Jericho a springboard guillotine leg drop. He goes for the cover 1,2,… but Jericho kicks out in time. RVD then thinking that the count was a little too slow, gets in Michaels' face. Shawn says that he counted right and that he should stay a little more focused because he is done one pin so far. RVD arguing helps Jericho get back to his feet. When RVD turns around, he is caught with a swinging neck breaker. Jericho then goes for the cover. 1,2,…. NO, oh so close. Now Jericho gets in Michaels' face. Michaels, then decks Jericho. RVD is up and he goes to punch HBK, but HBK ducks and nails RVD. Michaels then connects with two superkicks (sweet chin music) to both RVD and Jericho. Jericho and RVD are both down. They get up slowly and wait for Michaels to turn his ass around. When he does, RVD and Jericho double dropkick HBK! They then give him a double piledriver where RVD gets him up, and Jericho helps drive Shawn down. RVD and Jericho are teaming up against HBK. Jericho then hooks the lion tamer on HBK. RVD goes up top and 5 Star Frogsplash on HBK! Four referees then come out from the entrance. Two of them come to remove HBK and the other two come ref the match. While Jericho is watching the refs take HBK away, one of the other referees gets a chair and sneaks up behind Jericho. He puts the chair on Jericho's head and RVD delivers a Van Daminator! It was Bill Alfonso who put the chair on Jericho's head! Alfonso takes off his ref shirt to reveal an ECW shirt. He then reaches into his pocket and takes out a whistle. The other ref counts, 1,2,3!!! Jericho is pinned. It is now all tied up 1 to 1. Since Alfonso isn't a real ref, another ref comes in the ring to. RVD throws Jericho into the ropes. Jericho leap frogs RVD. Jericho goes into the ropes stomach first and RVD goes for a German suplex. Jericho then kicks RVD is the groin. Jericho then jumps up on the ropes and Lion Sault! 1,2,3!!!!! Jericho takes the lead after only about a minute.

RVD can't believe it. It is announced that there is a 15-minute time limit now in effect. Both men are up now. They get into a grapple and Jericho knees RVD in the stomach. Jericho then throws RVD out of the ring. Jericho then does a flip off the top ropes and connects with RVD. Jericho then goes for a piledriver outside the ring. RVD pushes him off though and Jericho hits his back on the ring. RVD then gives Jericho a back body drop into the crowd. RVD then goes in the ring. Hits the ropes and then he jumps up on the top turnbuckle and connects with a flip on Jericho! The crowd starts chanting, RVD, RVD. RVD is pumped up. He gets Jericho back in the ring. He puts Jericho on the top turnbuckle and hurricanerana! RVD then put the chair on the head of Jericho. He goes up to the top turnbuckle and Shooting Star Press on Jericho! 1,2,3!!!!! And it's all tied up!

Both men take time to breathe. RVD goes over to Jericho who is on his knees near the corner. Jericho punches RVD in the stomach. He then does it again. RVD is a little stunned and Jericho goes up to the middle rope. Jericho goes for a Buff Blockbuster. RVD catches him in the air!!!!! RVD is holding Jericho up for a vertical suplex. What strength by RVD! Jericho then slips down and is back to back with RVD. He turns around and goes for a reversed DDT. RVD then flips up over Jericho's head and he gets Jericho in the reversed DDT and he drops him down! 5 minutes to go in the match, is announced! RVD gets Jericho set up for a Tombstone Piledriver! Jericho kicks his feet. RVD falls back and Jericho has RVD set up. RVD uses his legs and gets Jericho in a head scissor. Jericho lets go of RVD and RVD spins causing Jericho to go over. RVD, knowing that he doesn't have much time left goes for a Piledriver. He delivers! He goes for the cover, 1,2,…. NO! Only a two count. He then gets Jericho set up for a Piledriver again. Jericho grabs the legs of RVD, he trips him up and… LION TAMER! Jericho pulls back. RVD won't give up. There are three minutes left in the match and Jericho looks like he is not going to let go. The fans are going crazy for Jericho. One minute passes and RVD still won't give up. The fans get a little quieter now. They can't believe RVD has not given up! Jericho then leans back farther. RVD screams in agony. Bill Alfonso gets up on the apron and tells RVD to give up, he tellshim not to go through with the pain. He won't give up, though. Only about 30 seconds left in the match! It looks like it's going to be a draw! RVD lifts his hand up and… he starts tapping! He starts tapping! The 60-minute time limit buzzer sounds. Jericho has done it! RVD gave up with one second left in the match! It is over! Oh baby it is over! Jericho is the winner! What a match. It will go down in history. RVD gets up slowly holding his back. Jericho goes over to him. They shake hands and then they hug! As the wrestlers embrace, the arena goes wild. Chants of RVD and Jericho run throughout the arena.
