                                              ENS Carlos E. Carlsson was born at Mayagüez, Puerto Rico on 3 Sept 1976, but he was raised at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

ENS Carlos E. Carlsson is actually a Criminal Justice Science Student at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Aguadilla, Campus.

ENS Carlos E. Carlsson was enrolled on the NSCC program on 1987 as a Navy League Cadet obtaning the rank of Petty Officer second class also a PO2 as a Sea Cadet. His Boot Camp was on RTC Orlando Florida. Advance Training aboard the USS Comte de Grasse DD-974. Also on Mayaguez Recruiting Naval Station. Also at Borinquen Air Station and Roosevelt Road, Ceiba Puerto Rico. Also as a cadet I was the first cadet of the Caribbean Region to assist the National Youth Leadership Forum on Security and Defense in Washington, D.C.

After finishing his years as cadet he stayed helping Mahan Division as a civilian. Later completed the NSCC Officer Study Guide an became an Instructor for one year. Then became an Ensign his current rank.

ENS Carlsson awards include the Meritorious Service Ribbon, Unit Commendation Ribbon with 4 bronze star, Unit Citation Ribbon with 2 bronze star, Recruiting Incentive Ribbon with 3 bronze star, Staff Cadet Ribbon with 1 bronze star, Marksmanship Award, Color Guard Ribbon, NSCC/NLCC Service Ribbon with Boot Apueretance, 25th Aniversary Ribbon, USCG Becintennial Unit Commendation Ribbon. As a Navy League awarded The Merit NLCC Award. As cadet earned Anchor, Recruiting, Propellar appurteance.

Ens Carlsson is a Life Member of The Navy League of the United States and Naval Institute and also member of Association of the United States Army AUSA.
