"Why are you interrogating my sister?" A new voice entered the conversation.
Reina and Mulder turned toward the newcomer to be greeted by the unsmiling face of Agent Jonathan Molestador.
"I was just asking a few questions about Mr. Montoya's murder," Mulder said. "This is not an interrogation."
"Well you do a damn good impersonation of one," Jonathan said coldly. "Especially since the case in question is closed."
"There are still unanswered questions."
"The case is closed Agent Mulder. There are no more questions to be asked."
"That is up to your sister to decide."
"I am telling you what the case is. Reina will not answer any more questions," Jonathan said. "And if you approach her again I will bring you up to the OPR myself."
"Wait just a damn minute!" Reina interjected. "I am perfectly capable of deciding who I will or will not talk to. Where the hell do you get off speaking for me?"
"I seem to have that effect on some people," Mulder muttered to himself.
"Reina, he's taking advantage of you," Jonathan said.
"What am I some sort of half wit who can't take care of herself?" Reina snapped. "I am quite aware that I am not under suspicion and that I can refuse to answer any question at any time. Did it occur to you that maybe I was toying with him? Or maybe I am as interested in finding out who stole Reynaldo's body as he is since I damn sure wasn't happy about burying an empty coffin!"
"Reina, I…" Jonathan started.
"No of course not!" Reina interrupted. "Because you still think I am ten years old and despite the numerous promises you make to me that you will treat me like an adult you don't."
"That's not true!"
"Maybe this isn't the best time for this," a fourth voice broke in.
