Answers to a few things that you probably wouldn't understand unless you were a regular reader of the board formerly known as the MSN X-Files forum. We're now at badsushi.
What does D.I.S.R.O.B.E. stand for?
I hear this word "moof" a lot. What does it mean?
Drabble? What's a drabble?
TBFB? What does that mean?

Badsushi? That sounds like spoiled Japanese food. What is it?

What does D.I.S.R.O.B.E. stand for?
No one seems to remember anymore. It started over a year ago when there was a thread in the MSN X-Files forum about which episodes one would take if one were stranded on a tropical island with only one's VCR and TV and a single X-Files book. As often happens the thread moved from its original topic and strayed to Mulder Fridays. At which some of us decided we'd rather have other clones on our island thank you very much. So now there's the three main "islands" Mags' Mulder island, Ish's Skinner Island and my Krycek island. Although there have been clone swaps. There are other islands but we've lost track of them. No one takes responsibility for any roving clones. Clone ownership is a huge responsibility so one can only take care of those in one's possession.
Because it's my fantasy island and I can be Queen if I want to. Everyone should be reining monarch or deity of their own domain. It makes the usual daily grind that much easier to deal with.
Moof? What the hell is a moof?
Moof is MSN regular speak for MOdem OFf. It's when some poor soul is kicked off-line not by their own choice. Moof has become almost an entity of it's own. It's also know as Moofie. We battle him every day. I have been losing that particular battle. There's even a rant inspired by the mythical beast.
A drabble is a very short fic. So short in fact that it is made up of exactly 100 words. They are not as easy to write as one would think.
TBFB is X-Philes R Us speak for Diana Fouler -er Fowley. Also known as That Back-stabbing Fowley Bitch. We don't like her. Personally I want her head on a pointy stick. I really want her dead. How much do I hate her? I'm not entirely sure there are words that can do justice to the amount of venom that woman inspires in me. I have a couple of top ten lists on ways to kill her. I'm planning on running a sweet sixteen death competition. I guess that should show how much I hate her.
Uh, isn't the Foul one dead already?
Yeah I'm aware. I had originally started with the death poll before the Foul one bought it. In an attempt not to spoil things for any overseas philes I thought I should keep it as how should she die as opposed to how I think she should have died. I'm still disappointed that we couldn't have at least watched her die.
For those of you who don't know the ladies of XPRU are a group of philes who used to be based on the MSN X-Files forum. However, several months ago we'd been evicted when the powers that be doth declared that HTML message boards on these things called user created communities were the way to go.
Fortunately, we've been fortunate to have been adopted by Ryan and Badsushi. (Check it out for yourself!)
We also have a mailing list which in addition to a back-up method should anything go wrong with the server, is also one of the place where I announce the approximately monthly changes made to the site.
It's not spoiled Japanese food. It's a private server which we've turned to so that we could continue to work with a newsreader. This helps our overseas friends who have to pay by the minute for their local phone calls. Plus, we can use stationery unlike with Usenet newsgroups. The newsgroup is called X-Files.Arcadia.
Badsushi is relatively easy to get to. I've included a link for your convenience. If you're using IE or Navigator clicking on the link will automatically add the server to your list and you can subscribe by right clicking on the name of the newsgroup and choosing subscribe.

I've uploaded it to the PGP server. It's listed under three user id's for all my e-mail address. (Not to mention all my online personas) The easiest way is to go to the PGP certificate server and look under "RaineyB." If you have any trouble e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

We were. But alas, for some reason, Badsushi has gone bad on us. For reasons I don't know we've been unable to get on to the server. So we moved. Badsushi will be missed. And we're indebted to Ryan for hosting us when we couldn't find other digs.
TIIC stands for The Idiot(s) In Charge. I can't take credit for making it up but it's my term for whoever's in charge. Especially when I think they're being imbeciles. It could stand for anyone depending on context.
