Mulder: I was merely extending her a professional courtesy Scully: Oh is that what you were extending? |
I couldn't have said it better myself. "Fire" allows us a glimpse into Mulder's past by showing us the first of the Mulder bimbos. Phoebe was my least favorite of them (until the arrival of That Back-Stabbing Fowley Bitch.) God what did Mulder ever see in that woman anyway? At any rate she seems to really bring out the Punk in Mulder. Thankfully she never darkened the basement doorstep again.
Letting that Beastwoman Phoebe kiss him at the car. I have only one word: Ewww!
As Scully so aptly pointed out, dropping everything in order to help the wench. Professional courtesy my ass!
In a really obvious ditch effort, telling Scully he wouldn't put her through Phoebe's mind games. More like he didn't want to be around both women at the same time.
Apologizing for the "cheap shot." The person he should be apologizing to is Scully who's obviously been ditched.
Bloody ingrate! His hesitation at Scully's potential arrival in Boston seems to have a lot to do with anticipating a catfight between Scully and Phoebe and not wanting to be in the middle of it. He hardly seemed to be interested in hearing Scully's information. What little faith he has in Scully. She has much too much class to get involved in a catfight even if Phoebe doesn't.
Playing tonsil hockey with that Phoebe wench. Once again I am reduced to a single word: Ewww!
Walking onto a floor of a building where there's a fire with no protection. How dumb is that?
Once again Mulder barks orders just like an Army general or something. Sheesh!
