Mulder: She may have bled it. Agent Eubanks: She bled Amy Jacobs' blood? Mulder: Yes. It may explain why there was so little of it on the carpet in Amy's bedroom. Agent Kresge: [Holding up a phone] Agent Eubanks, line three. Agent Eubanks: I don't have time for this nonsense, Agent Mulder. We've got a young girl's life at stake. [He goes to answer phone.] Scully: [Quietly, to Mulder] I hate to say this, Mulder, but I think you just ran out of credibility. |
And Mulder started off so well in this episode as far as getting along with the other investigators was concerned.
Usually when Mulder takes a case rather personally he acts like a complete jackass. Surprisingly, this time he was relatively well behaved considering. But well behaved or no he still manages to act like a punk.
Here's the scenario: Mulder and Scully go to Lucy Householder's room at the hospital. This is the first time they've met. So the first word to come out of Mulder's mouth? "Lucy." What's was wrong? Was "Ms. Householder" too much of a mouthful for him to wrap his lips around?
Far be it for me to critical but how many time has Mulder come out with one of his theories in front of a third party and have been accused of wasting someone's time. When will he learn?
In this episode we have not one but two Mulder ditches.
Mulder was rather forceful when he pushed Scully's hands away. He should be more careful.
