Scully: She's a disturbed person, Mulder. She wasn't even who she claimed to be. Mulder: Yeah, but she knew Max well enough for him to write her thousands of letters, well enough for him to call her and tell her he was going to die. Do you know where she is? Scully: In a mental institution. Mulder: I'd, I'd go with you, but I'm, I'm afraid they'd lock me up. Scully: Me too. |
Me three. Really. Forgetting the fact that many of Mulder's theories are totally off the wall, he has no sense of when to open his mouth and when to keep his yap shut. It can only be a miracle that he hasn't ended up locked up before now. Especially since he's prone to shouting out insane sounding truths no one wants to hear.
On a completely different note, in the scene where Mulder is released from military custody I can't help but wonder what he would have done if Scully hadn't turned around. Would he have dropped trou and continued to change clothes?
Littering: I'm sure other people who hang out on the lakeside will appreciate tripping over Mulder's discarded equipment.
What pray tell will it take for anything to penetrate that thick skull of Mulder's? How many times will he fail to catch and or get away from something before he learns that he cannot outrun a moving vehicle? Exactly how did he expect to get away from what looks like a hum vee?
You've got to love the way Mulder locks Pendrell's shooter in the airplane bathroom. He does such a great job the guy easily escapes.
What the hell did Mulder think he was doing pulling a gun out on someone in an airplane? As often as he misses could he possibly think it was a good idea to pull the trigger? He could have hit an innocent passenger or worse yet cause the plane to depressurize at cruising altitude.
