Scully: You're saying "I" a lot. I heard "we." Nor do I assume that this case is just a waste of our time. Mulder: Not yours, anyway. There's no reason both of us should go to Chicago. I'll take care of it. Scully: Mulder… Mulder: I'm monster boy, right? |
Personally, I'm more inclined to say Punk-ass boy but if monster boy floats your boat... Actually, while I'm on the subject I'm surprised he didn't end up strapped to a hospital bed sooner considering how many times Mulder's sounded like and escaped mental patient.
Did Mulder forget he had a partner? What's up with all that me, me, me, crap? I recall Skinner assigning both Mulder and Scully to Chicago.
Ditching Scully declaring the case a waste of her time then calling her to do research for his sorry ass.
Since when does Special Agent "Trust no one" Mulder take what people tell him at face value? He could have saved himself some trouble had he checked out the earlier Vinyl Right shooting himself.
It would appear that Scully and Krycek aren't the only ones that Mulder ditches: This time it's Agent Rice that he runs out on without a word.
Here's another example of typical Mulder punk ass behavior: Here's Mulder investigating a closed case. He leaves for Chicago without Scully leaving her to try to explain Mulder's behavior.
Scheduling an autopsy without telling Scully after she refused his request to do one in the first place: What nerve!
All that eye-rolling during that pow wow with Skinner and Mr. Pincus is not helpful.
Pushing Skinner out of the way while waving a gun yelling about monsters after a woman just accused him of doing the same thing does not help his credibility.
That one in five billion line was an extremely obvious guilt trip to get Scully to do what he wanted.
Stalking: Once again Mulder fails to realize that following someone around when you're not supposed to be investigating that person is called stalking.
Breaking and Entering: When you burst into someone's house unannounced and uninvited waving a gun around it's bound to make you look nutty. And the uninvited entry makes it illegal.
