The Sixth Extinction

Mulder chooses a clever albeit exteme method of slipping a note to Skinner.

Michael Kritschgau:  Yeah.  At the CIA a high degree of ability was twenty percent.  Twenty-five percent was extraordinary.

Mulder:  But I see them in my head.

Skinner:  You saw his ability earlier.  It was you who pointed it out.

Michael Kritschgau:  Well, our tests showed that some people have psychic abilities, sure.  I mean, E.S.P., clairvoyance, remote viewing, but it was never attributed to aliens.

Mulder:  You don't want to believe.  You're not looking hard enough.

That's Mulder for you.  If you don't find what he's looking for he assumes you're not looking hard enough.  It just so happens that in this case it was true but being right in this case isn't quite as impressive when such an accusation is part of one's modus operandi.

There aren't a lot of punkisms to chronicle what with Mulder being locked in a padded cell or strapped down to a hospital bed for most of the episode.

Criminal Activity

Assault and Battery:  a rather extreme albeit clever method of slipping a note to Skinner.
