History

Chuck Taine gained bouncing abilities when he accidentally drank a super-plastic fluid. He applied for membership in the Legion of Super Heroes and was turned down. After proving himself, he was later admitted into the Legion. Knowing that his powers weren't the most useful on the team, he decided that he would make himself useful by becoming the team's self-apointed morale officer and try to keep his teammates from taking themselves too seriously

He fell in love with Luornu Durgo (Duo Damsel) who had a crush on Superboy. He became friends with Luornu and eventually gained her love in return. When Chuck lost his powers for the second time, he finally got up the courage to propose to Luornu. They married and left the team.

Chuck regained his powers some time later, and they later returned to the Legion as reserve members, and became instructors at the Legion Academy. When the Legion was disbanded and the Legion Academy was closed, Chuck and Lu became instructors at the UP Militia Academy.

Powers and Skills

Chuck has the ability to inflate to the shape of a ball and bounce. He is also skilled in angles due to his years of bouncing off walls.
