TRIADREAL NAME: Luornu Durgo HISTORYLuornu has the natural Carggite ability to triplicate herself into three individual bodies. Unlike most Carggites, each of her bodies has its own unique poersonality. "Purple" manifests her aggressive, impulsive side, "Orange" is her sensitive, conservative, submissive side, and "Neutral" is a balance of them both. Having her Multiple Personality Disorder made Luornu a pariah. Unwilling to submit to government psychiatric experiment to fix her, she ran away. Luornu was pursued by the Carggite psychiatrists until she was rescued by R.J. Brande, who then became her legal guardian. Luornu also became R.J.'s office manager, and without her, he never would have gotten the United Planets or the Legion of Super-Heroes off the drawing board. Mr. Brande was saddened to lose her to the Legion when it first formed, but in wake of her nightmarish upbringing, he knew she would benefit from life in a social group that valued her. His office is no longer run as efficient, but R.J.'s loss was the Legion's gain.
Durring the Blight's occupation of Earth, Luornu was among those that were "Blighted." It is unknown at this time what effects the experience of being controlled by the blight had on her. POWERS AND SKILLSTriad has the natural Carggite power to split into three version of herself. To enhance her power's effectiveness in combat, Luornu has mastered a personal fighting style called Tri-Jitsu. She also has very minimal telepathy between her bodies. Information learned by each seperate self becomes part of the memory of all after rejoining. Her discipline and sharp mind make her a valuable member of the Legion Espionage Squad. If she has no contact with her bodies for several days it is assumed all the bodies will die. Back to Luornu Durgo Bios |
