PART V: An Excellent & Thrilling Second Half!

After intermission the show re-opened up with Laurent Tobel, I think. This program was a little weird to me. He was dressed as a baby & skated to Rugrats. Thirteenth on the ice I don’t really remember anything about. All I know is it was a pairs performance. I wasn’t able to catch the name & did not recognize the skaters. Fourteenth was Todd Eldredge! I was cheering loud!!! He skated to "Pity the Child", a performance I had seen on TV before & didn’t really like too much, but in person it was excellent! I remember looking down there & seeing his face & I just couldn’t believe that was really Todd! Again back to my crazy thinking about impersonators. It was just too good to be true, yet it was!  Fifteenth on the ice was Marina Anissina & Gwendal Peizerat. I had seen their performance at worlds & really enjoy & appreciate them. I cheered loudly & it was so thrilling seeing them in person as well. Also their famous "she lifts him" move. Very moving & effective! J Sixteenth was Oskana Bauil. I really appreciate her skating as well. Lots of people say she’s stuck up but she has had a tough life so I say give her a break! I know she kind of does look snobby or mean when she off the ice at times but when I’ve watched her skate I see some real personality! She seems happy & friendly! I don’t know the name of the song she skated to but it was my favorite program of hers where she is wearing a black costume, I really love the music! If somebody can tell me the name of the music I would love to know so I can get it! It is the program where she starts on the wall, sitting on it, then leaning against it & stretching her leg on it. I thought her performance was really good & moving! She landed all her jumps & I think they were very strong ones too. I noticed on two jumps it was like she saved them but it was a big thing to me. It wasn’t like she had a double-footed landing & saved it. Just maybe a tiny lean or something. Seventh was Sergei…something…I don’t remember. Eighteenth was Victor Petrenko! He did his Michael Jackson medley which is so entertaining to watch! He has the moves down & everything! It was just wonderful!  Nineteenth was Oskana Kasakova & Artur Dmitriev. I don’t really have much information or recollection of this performance. But I’ve given you about 99% of the details!  Twentieth was Philippe Candelero! He is just so appealing to the audience! I love watching his performances everytime! I don’t know what he skated to but it was a program where he had a sword. Very comical, strong, just terrific! I’m running out of words to describe all of these great performances!
