The whole day of music for me was awesome...but when I went over to the Chart Magazine tent and saw that bands were singing...I was so excited! I checked to see when The Watchmen were going to be there...only to see it was very soon. So I ran to go get my CD booklet that was at the other stage. When I got back I went into the line and talked to some really nice girls. After awhile we saw the band come out from behind another tent and Joey sprayed us with water. Since it was really hot we didn't mind. =) When finally my turn came to meet them I was so nervous and I didn't know why. They were so nice when I talked to them! I really liked the way they talked to the fans...not just sign the thing and pass it on.
Later when they came onstage the audience was eager for them to start because it was quite a long time since Creed had finished their set. The set was basically a "best of" The Watchmen songs...I was dissapointed at first because I really wanted to hear more Silent Radar songs...but they still played an amazing show! One bad thing about the time was that Green Day was on the main stage then. So they had to battle it out with the sound...which they did a pretty good job at. During the song Say Something they played O' Canada to the tune. =) That was really neat to hear.
