Taste of Hamilton Festival, Hamilton, ON,

A week or so before the concert when I heard the Watchmen were
playing again near me (ok well not really near...it's almost 2 hours away...but nevertheless) I was so excited!!!
Usually I had to wait months before I saw them again. Just three weeks later was incredible!! And the fact that I
would be seeing them again the week after...!!!!
here is the set list for the show:

Having two exams before hand, then the long drive made me really tired...but the energy and excitement really
kept me going. lol We watched Jay Englishman who I have to say was fairly good! He has a nice voice live and
the band has good energy. (they weren't jumping around or anything...they just looked like they were into the
concert which was a good thing)
Finally it was around 9:30 and the Watchmen came out!!!! I was at the concert w/ some friends I met at the last
concert (Andy and Collette), my friend Rebecca and my brother. We were right at the front (obviously! lol) A couple
songs in they played Mister!!!! We were talking on the Watchmen discussion list awhile back on how they never
play the older rarer songs. And now they did!!! It was great to hear the audience sing along to it as well (most of
the people there didn't seem to know the band) Maybe it was just us huge fans singing really loud...lol ;) Later
they even played Soul Stealer!! That was a treat too!! The two new songs they played were (and these might not
be what they are called but it was apparently on the setlist like that) I Like It...a very beautiful slow, melodic song
with Ken on keyboard and Danny playing the bass. This concert Danny seemed much more comfortable with the
bass! The other song was Lost in a Miracle (again maybe not the exact title) it was really funky and amazing!!
A definite fun song!!!
For Danny's Solo, he did Tender Commrade. Very beautiful!!!
I talked to the guys after the show and they were really wonderful as always!!
